Opulent Gold, Opulent Surroundings
It was Saturday 3rd October, and what better than a beautiful autumnal sunny day to head off to Carnforth near Lancaster to the fabulous Leighton Hall venue set in stunning grounds in the countryside.
We were made to feel extremely welcome by the owners Susie and Lucy who made us tea and coffee whilst we set about to transform the beautifully traditional music room into a ceremony room for Linda and her guests.
Dressed and Draped
We dressed the chairs with ivory covers complemented by antique gold taffeta sashes with a gold organza overlay and then completed the look with a beautiful antique gold taffeta swag with the overlay on the registrars ceremony table.
You could just picture the guests sitting in this fabulous room whilst taking in the beautiful bride standing in the window overlooking the lovely grounds.
Our sumptuous ivory aisle runner was laid with 8 of our engraved ivory lanterns then we were off to the reception room which was absolutely gorgeous. Again, the top table was situated in the window with picturesque views behind.
Check out the photo of this gorgeous cake in golds and white, the details is amazing. Definitely one of the nicest we have seen!
All in all it was an absolute pleasure to work at this venue and the next day when we collected from Susie and Lucy they said our bride Linda was so pleased with everything!
